Kitchen Remodel
Simple changes made a big impact in this West Des Moines kitchen remodel.
To open up the room, a wall was removed, as well as the bulkhead above the cabinets. This small change allowed for new white IKEA cabinetry to reach the ceiling and provide ample storage space. MetroQuartz Statuario quartz in “Bianco” give the cabinets a modern and clean look.
The once dim room is now light and bright with new can lights and undercabinet lighting. Ivy Bronx pendant lights were also added above the island and the sink for additional lighting and style.
The kitchen sink was relocated from a corner cabinet to under a new operable window, allowing also for a new Kraus double basin undermount sink to be installed. Delta Trinisic fixtures in chrome complete the look of the new sink.
Maiolica tile in “Pearl Gloss” line the walls, and Cortec Pro Plus LVP in “Copano Oak” add some warmth to the floors. New GE appliances and matching range hood were installed and make this kitchen the perfect space to cook in!

We met with Nicholas on recommendation from our designer. From first quote to completion of our project he was great to work with. Our project was a full kitchen remodel and involved all of the main floor too. We were able to do everything on our wish list with our modest budget. We did Ikea cabinets to keep costs down. The team even did the assembly for us which was much appreciated! The project started before Halloween and was largely done in time to host Thanksgiving. We had many subcontractors who were great to work with. When issues came up Nicholas and his team was always there to solve them. We love the beautiful end result! It came out just the way we had hoped.
